Background: Customer installed 28 dump truck loads of dirt and a concrete 8' retaining wall. Grading and dirt work $25k. Customer ordered a 16' wide by 7' tall opening in the front of the garage for a 16' wide garage door. We don't stock the wide garage door's, over time they have more service issues than the smaller garage doors. Due to possible service requirements of the wide doors, we have customers order the door from any LOCAL garage door company like overhead doors etc. They can warranty and repair the door if needed. It is rare that we are called back on any service issues on a vertical roof steel garage. A front frame out like this cost an extra $200.00 plus the cost of the end wall.
