Superior Buildings and Carports, Inc. offers storage building moving services. The widest building we move is 12'. The longest building we move is 30'. The tallest building we move is 11'6". Buildings must be of a sturdy construction. All buildings need to be empty. We need to be able to back a truck with a trailer up to the building to load the building. We need room to back in and drive out. If your building is 12' wide, we need at least 14' in width to move the building out. If the truck needs to angle in to get the building we need more width. Make sure you look up at phone lines, tree limbs and house overhangs when checking if we can get the building out. We can remove a fence post or section of fence if needed for an additional charge.
Our trailers use rollers to move the building, our trailers do not have beds. This means that the building will need skids to be able to sit on the trailer. If your building does not have skids or the skids are over 7' wide, we need to know. We will need to add skid(s) to move the building. This is an additional charge. Our minimum charge is $250.00 to move a building such as an 8' x 8'. Larger buildings are more money to move. Any portable storage building over 8' in width requires a permit to move. We only have a permit to move buildings in Georgia. Our permit allows us to move buildings up to 12' wide. If your building is larger than what we can move, you have two other options.
